Three Doors Foundation

our activities

The main focus of the Three Doors Foundation is the organisation of workshop meetings and publishing work. The meetings we invite you to will be composed from different contexts of thinking and working methods that we consider supportive for enhancing social change: meditation practice, mindfulness and compassion, deep ecology and ecosophy, as well as Joanna Macy and John Seed’s Work That Reconnects, Paul Gilbert’s Compassionate Mind Training and Compassion-Focused Therapy, MBLC (Mindfulness Based Living Course), empathic communication and ecotherapy.

We want to commit our energy and attention to strengthening the process of bringing about systemic change – working with professional and community groups and individuals who want to pass on knowledge and skills to their communities.

We are committed to building small communities and empowering each other in action. We are aware that the activities of the Three Doors Foundation are part of a network of similar activities of many NGOs supporting social change around the world – we get strength and joy from this. Social and economic inclusiveness is important to us – our activities will be organised largely on the principles of the gift economy.
